As I just found out that my favourite "aunt" has an agressive terminal cancer. I meant to come back with some kick ass posting, but I'm a little side tracked. Hopefully I can get an address soon so I can overnight her a letter telling her how much she means to me.
When I was a teen (14-ish I believe) I spent a summer with her in Cincinnati and it was one of the best summers. Not only was it abuse free (my mother was physically and mentally abusive), but it was a great time I spent with my aunt and second cousins. It is one of my fondest memories and I want more then anything to be able to tell her how much it meant to me that she was there for me. Lois is one of my favourite relatives and I want more then anything to be able to be there for her right now, but I'm on the west coast and she's in Ohio. They tell me she's unconcious most of the time, so she's not really suffering. She had such a huge impact on my life. I hope I get to tell her that before she passes on.

LC,
Nothing I can say to make it better so I'll go to the old standby, I'm sorry.
So sorry to hear this, LC, thinking of you xxx
Thanks all. It was strange writing the letter, but it felt really good. I hope she gets it.
