Migraines ruined my weekend
I had big plans which included meeting Library Tavern Liz, but alas. Stupid migraines.

I've never really had a problem with headaches until now... I've had a chronic head/ear/ache problem for three months and I can understand how unbearable it can be.
I never had any understanding/sympathy of for headache/migraine sufferers until now.
It totally ruins anything/everything you do - your concentration/your ability to focus/your desire to get out and do things...
Sorry about your pain.
I'm sorry we didn't get to meet in Seattle.
