Anonymous said...: I don't think it's possible for a candidate to only win one state in a general election where the two candidates are nearly even in the popular vote. Nixon led Mcgovern by about 23 points in the general election.

I don't think it makes sense to compare Obama vs Mccain to Nixon vs Mcgovern. as i said before. Nixon was invincible.
