Not done yet? Still want to win in November?

Know that presumptive =/= actual?

Well in her speech she told us that she wants to hear from YOU, her supporters:
… .. Now the question is, where do we go from here, and given how far we’ve come and where we need to go as a party, it’s a question I don’t take lightly. This has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight. But this has always been your campaign, so to the 18 million people who voted for me and to our many other supporters out there of all ages, I want to hear from you. I hope you’ll go to my website at HillaryClinton.com and share your thoughts with me and help in any way that you can.

In the coming days, I’ll be consulting with supporters and party leaders to determine how to move forward with the best interests of our party and our country guiding my way.

You should do ALL of the following:

Sign the petition urging Hillary to take it to Denver.

Send an email to comments@hillaryclinton.com with “ATTENTION: HAROLD ICKES” in the subject, and again as the first line of the email itself, followed by something as simple as “Take it to Denver!”.

Send another email to TMcAuliffe@hillaryclinton.com

Finally, go to HillaryCilnton.com and Stand with Hillary. Tell her to stay in it and keep fighting. (Though I added that I think she should suspend her campaign for a little while. The things that the national press has refused to run on Obama are sure to come out with the Republicans.) Make a contribution, anything, if you can. Show her you're still there for her and you need her to still be there for you.

  1. Why should she keep fighting - to be our martyr? Hasn't she been beat up enough? Get a grip. The party chose Obama. Anymore resistance would be self defeating and futile.

Did you see her speech at the Jewish Convention? That is how she can use her power. Refuse to be his vice president.

Then she should make public appearances stating plainly how she feels US policy should be conducted. At the Jewish Convention, she said, "No American President should deal with Hamas" Now Bo is backtracking, but Bo's operatives have already had dealings with Hamas. By her strong presence she can present the correct positions and policies. He can follow her lead or she can highlight what he should be doing.

This she should do for the next 4 years whether he wins or not. If BO wins and is an acceptable president - that's the end of it. If he turns out to be the anti-christ, she can run against him in 2012, but she should run in a third party because .... well there are so many reasons not to be in the Democrat party as it is now and always will be. Leave it to the rich boys.

  2. To be our martyr? Bullshit. I don't think she should actively campaign besides talking to supers (I mean what else is there to do), but remember Reagan was 3rd going into his primary.

Telling me to get a grip, nice. Did you read the part where I said that in my letter I told her to suspend her campaign? I simply told her not to concede. What the fuck is wrong with that. Nothing is set in stone until the Convention and even then those votes are private. Again, Reagan.

Obama will lose. Electoral match-ups say so. If they keep saying so and if they get worse (McCain is actively courting the Hillary voters, though I believe he meant every kind word he said on Tuesday). Obama is a horrible candidate and 2 months is an eternity in politics. The republicans haven't even begun.

Maybe I'm not the one who should get a grip.

  4. I still like you angry clown but it is over -- just pray she does not become his vice president and we have to watch that - a superior more qualified woman doing the shit work and training an inadequate male who was promoted over her for sexist reasons.

This is the state of the US patriarchy today -- perhaps this will energize the feminist movement to organize independently.

  5. I wholeheartedly agree with no to the VP, but as I said presumptive =/= actual. The Rezko conviction is just the tip of the iceberg. It ain't over til Denver.
